i dunno, but i think it's really interesting that 5 seasons in, i still can't tell if ben is really trying to do good or not. can't think of a show where that's ever been the case. i can not agree more with that. its exactly how i feel. i started out thinking, of course that ben was bad. then over time i was pretty sure that i thought he wasnt so bad (in the kind of way you described that s.k. character.) but after watching wednesday's im not sure what i think again. part of me thinks that ben is trying to do good, although in not the most morally correct way perhaps, but then part of me thinks that maybe charles isnt evil. i think i am still leaning towards ben being the better of two evils though the whole ben/charles battle is for sure intriguing though -carla

i agree that i'm still on the fence with whether ben is good or not. i like to think he's good...only because richard was working with him. but who knows, maybe ben and richard are bad and widmore is good and that's why they got him off the island. i think they're doing a great job on keeping that in suspense along with everything else.
now for the 'new' castaways...i think they have nothing to do with anyone...just in the wrong place at the wrong time. i want to know who lapidus went off with. some woman, right?
i'm also interested in the upcoming reunion of the O6-3 and the leftbehinders...the leftbehinders have been stuck in that time for three years. it makes me wonder what they've been up to, what they've discovered, etc. what is this war that widmore spoke of? will locke kick ben's ass for killing him? where are the remaining O6ers...sun and sayid? where are rose and bernard?

you know, there are two characters that i was always thinking "what the hell was up with them?" remember that guy and girl that got burried after they got bitten by something i think, and they were involved in something shady? like they had commited a crime or something. i don't remember the exact details, they were only in a couple of episodes, and it was a while ago, but it just seemed so random in a tv series where everything means something. anyone remember them?

yes i do. i just rewatched that one not too long ago (my friend started watching the new season with me and decided he had to go watch the all the back ones to catch up, so i rewatched a few with him)
nikki and palo. they stole diamonds from a rich film/tv director and killed him. then they got bit by the medusa spider which paralized them and ended up in them getting buried alive.
it was strange that it seemed so out of no where. ive often wondered if that will ever be addressed again. same kind of thing with libby. we saw that she knew hurley from the metal hospital but then she got killed off and we never learned more about her, why tell us she did know him (even though she acted like she didnt) and then thats it?

oh yeah i think there's more to the Locke/Bentham meeting everyone deal. well, maybe not everyone, but at least jack. i have a feeling they rushed through everything as far as trying to convince everyone to come back:
Locke: you have to go back Everyone: no, you're crazy. i'm done with you.
ok and that's it? there's more to it than that! i'm sure of it!

4 toed statue revealed?
our love triangle has expanded into a quadrangle?
i had been thinking, that in whatever episoid it was earlier said in, that the "war" that was coming (because of the time they were stuck in) was going to be the hostiles vs dharma. so are we now going to have to make sure the losties are on the hostile side so that the war ends right?
also, who do you think that baby boy being born was? cause i dont think the only purpose of that child was so that juliet could deliver a baby and not have it and the mother die
i really really liked last night's
oh, and why isnt it on next week?

yeah the Four Toed Statue! although...we didn't see the feet so are we sure THAT'S the actual statue? hmmm...
anyways, Sawliet....like no one saw that coming? he's such a manwhore.
i bet this was what was going through Sawyer's head when he saw kate:
I lurve you. I mean I lurved you. I mean...oh crap.
also, i'm also trying to figure out who that child maybe....Caesar perhaps?
one more thing i read this morning:
Have you noticed how Season 5 of Lost resembles Season 2 of Lost? Season 2 emphasized the Man of Science/Man of Faith conflict and introduced us to the Dharma Initiative mythology. Season 5: Lots of faith/reason; lots of Dharma. When you consider that Season 4 mirrored Season 3 (split group story lines; a climactic attack on the castaways; similar Coffin/''We've got to go back'' cliffhanger), what you have is a saga that's doubling back on itself.
SO...
Does this mean Season 6 will emulate Season 1? And given that we're now dealing with time travel and paradox, might Season 6 literally follow in Season 1's footprints due to some looming reboot of time? Will Season 5 culminate with an event that will alter all of Lost chronology, setting up a Season 6 that will reveal the scope of those alterations by retelling the entire saga from the very beginning? How's this for the opening sequence of next year's premiere: Jack wakes up in the jungle, right after the crash of Oceanic 815. He races around the beach, saving people, just as he did in Lost's pilot. Except this time, things are little different. Boone, Shannon, Michael, and Walt won't be there — but Miles and Faraday might. Maybe Locke will still be a paraplegic; perhaps his magic legs were a temporary gift lent to Locke so that he could accomplish what he needed to do for the Island? And all the flashbacks? The same — and yet, significantly different, too. Call it ''The Rough Draft to Final Draft Theory of Lost.'

i guess sawyer has a think for jack's leftovers....
thats an interesting theory you found, i could see it working out like that, but not exactly as how they described it
wheres bernard and i cant think of her name at the moment?

rose
i don't know...i mean they've left some stuff unanswered/open ended, but they whole 'where's bernard/rose' thing is really bugging me. i'll be satisfied with them saying that they've been shacked up in some cave waiting for the flashes to stop or something.

yeah. very true.
im also very curious when we are going to hear from clarie again/get some explanation on her. cause i dont believe shes dead, unless they show us a flash of her dying, then i will, but until then.... all we saw was her wondering off and then in the cabin all happy. soo, whats up with that? when are we learning more on that?
