yeah my calander always says those...i have no idea what a bank holiday is though -carla Traditionally, it just means a day when banks had a holiday and didn't open. Now it's just an excuse for people to take the day off work. Because I work in a supermarket, who open on bank holidays, I don't get that. New Year's Day is a bank holiday, par example.

does your supermarket close on christmas?
I work in a 24-hour walgreens
it never closes..
that means when christmas happens people are there all day
even better at midnight on new years i believe at least 2 people are working
this is why i go home over breaks..i never work the holidays...suckersss.

Mine closes Christmas Day and Boxing Day, and New Year's Day. So I get all of those days off.

yeah seriously. i think it was just they saw how i responded to some guy who was trying to talk to me at our hotel/cabin/lodge thing. but i had just got done running up some small rocky hill 20 times so i didn't feel like having a little 'chat'... geez! i needed to take a goddamn shower for crying out loud... and it's not like i know the guy anyway
but yeah, i'm usually just... umm.. funny. i just come across too straightforward or somethin. oh well!

yeah and i don't *think i really offend anyone. people generally 'appear' to like me lol i think again it was just my parents had nothing better to think about. and maybe sometimes i just don't like idle chit chat with people i don't know... especially if my mind is on other things. but i mean, people in general look like they could be stuck up/rude sometimes i'm sure. we've all probably been through it
