Hopefully in the direction of Prepare To Be Wrong, hopefully advancing from that. Those songs still had a recognisable straylight sound while they were able to branch out and be a little more experimental. Hands In The Sky shows that sort of experimentation with it's subtle electronics I guess would be the only word I can think to describe it. I think it's going to differ greatly from the the debut full length because they have grown so much as a band already and they seem to be getting better at playing and writing together as a band.
I think this is going to be their best release yet.

i think SR should make a horrible rip-off song of queen's bohemian rhapsody.. The idea of us getting together and working hard to purposely do a piss poor version of Bohemian Rhapsody made me laugh! Any ideas on how we could try to eff it up? (sorry if I may be thread jacking here!) -shaun

OUT OF TUNE accordians, guitars, pianos, etc. and cowbells are well.. just... already outrageous in the tune department. and then... beer bottles, mt. dew cans (from that commercial remake, yess!), printers, cement jackhammers, mouse clicks, and thennn.... doors opening and shutting, pictures being hung, plates breaking and gluing back together(?!), air conditioners turning on and off, light switches as well. and then.. the sound of someone picking flowers and/or apples. (how all this sounds would of course be up to who records it). all ended with a swimming pool splash and/or leaves falling into a swimming pool (cuz summer is going away and then we can kinda tell when this was recorded too, so that helps) and then add some rocks and pebbles, which will add that cliche touch to make it TRULY rock. literally. then just rig some new Tickle Me Elmos to sing it all while laughing and shaking and kicking around on the floor. and there you have it a nice, jacked up rockelmo bohemian rhapsomambo i personally think it might end up sounding pretty actually... all those elements do go together quite well.

hahaha
I GOT IT!
shaun- you should sing Bohemian Rhapsody in your gospel voice a cappella, maybe with some other members doing some instrumental noises without using instruments though, and make it a bonus/hidden track on your cd. basically, it would be the best hidden track ever. you should do it.
id buy your cd for that alone. or release it as a single, and on the b-side of the single you should have a dance/remix version.
