So I started thinking about what books I should read and I did a search on yahoo for the 100 best books ever. I can't believe how few of them I've read. www.the-bookman.com/main/Best.books.htmlI also found other lists but I've read even less of those books. Steve

i've read at least 23. there's a few others on there that i can't remember if i've read the book or if i just saw the movie and thought i read the book.
I'm surprised the Handmaid's Tale won out over 1984 but if you got on the stereotypical assumption about libarians being females I guess it makes sense.
If you want a recommendation and if you haven't read it yet, Catch 22 is excellent, excellent.

Haha, I've read 6 of those books on the top list. Mainly the classics like Wuthering Heights and Rebecca on my degree course.

But I don't know, I tend to prefer classics over newer books and that list didn't have so many classics. I read constantly, and I hardly even read any on those lists. It's weird.
