does anyone know where to go to buy new vinyl records? i know hot topic has some, but not many. i've been buying a lot of old used records on ebay and in used cd stores, but i've been meaning to go get some new releases and i have no idea where to go.

usually the smaller mom & pop type music stores have vinyl
sometimes you can go to a record label's site and they'll sell vinyl too.

yea i'm gonna have to look around, i don't really know any independent music stores anymore. the one that was close by closed, and i never found a replacement. but if i can order them through the labels, then thats good enough. thanks!

yea old ones i know where to go, that's not a prob, but like i wanted to see if i could get more recent ones. i guess i'll just have to order them through the label when they come out.

what about looney tunes in li? is that still open? -carla it is, but it's a good 40-50 minutes from me. so i dunno if i wanna make the trip. i got some other local places a friend told me about, but i'm just amazed that not a single large retailer would sell them.
