OK so this is in a sense a business deal that I am hoping someone would be nice enough to help me with. Basically I am asking for help for anyone seeing Straylight Run in the upcoming tour. I was lucky enough to see them in November last year with a friend of mine and at that show my friend bought a scarf. Long story short, in late January while she was walking around her campus it blew away and someone stole it. Ever since I have been searching the internet desperately looking for a replacement for said scarf with no luck. So here is my latest idea. To anyone who is interested: When you go and see them check the merch table for scarves. If they have one would you be kind enough to buy one and get in contact with me. I will send out a check for the cost of the scarf and shipping and an additional reasonable sum of money for your trouble. Probably an extra 10-20 dollars or something. Also, if they aren't there could you please tell me that so I can stop looking? This is basically my last idea and if this doesn't work I don't know what I will do. I would go out and do this myself but I live in Connecticut and the closest they are comming to me I believe is Pennsylvania. Regardless I cannot make it out. I know I am new but I am hoping someone will be nice enough to help me out here. I really want to do this for my friend and you would be doing me an amazing favor. Thanks in advance!

It's pretty big asking people for money when you have one post... I think if you were a regular and people knew who you were, you'd have more of a chance. Aren't any of your friends going to any of the shows? Surely you know someone online, even if not in your hometown, that might be attending one? I'm not sure you'll have any luck posting here, but I could be wrong.

I am not asking for money. If someone actually comes through for me I will be giving money away. I understand that the purchase will initially cost something but I plan on reimbursing every cent and actually giving more money to the person for their trouble. I understand the whole senority thing and I apologize for not being more active, even though I plan to change that. I was just hoping someone would sympathize with my situation and try and help me out. If nothing comes of it than so be it. I don't know too many people outside the northeast United States so asking someone I know if they could do it for me is somewhat out of the question. This was basically just an idea that I had the other day and I figured I had nothing to lose really. So yeah, I can see where you are comming from but I just wanted to try. Thank you for the suggestions though.

You're asking for money in the initial sense that someone will be out of pocket in buying this thing for you before you reimburse them - you might not reimburse them, the Internet is a dodgy place 99% of the time, unfortunately.
Well, I'm in the UK, so I'm afraid I can't help you. There might be some charitable soul around that will, though.
