MONMOUTH UNIVERSITY GLOBAL SERVICE PROJECT AND THE POLITICAL SCIENCE CLUB PRESENT (In association with Lambda Pi Eta):
SUPPORT THE TROOPS BBQ

WHERE: BEY HALL LAWN (RIGHT NEXT TO THE STUDENT CENTER, IN FRONT OF THE COMMUTER LOT)

WHY : In response to events that happened in Seattle that ended up with the burning of a soldier in effigy, Monmouth University students on the weekly talk radio show, "The Political Watchdog with Sean Quinn", came up with the idea to create a positive event to show unanimous support for the troops despite any personal opinions on the war.
This Event is COMPLETELY NON-PARTISAN!
Donations throughout the program will be collected for The Wounded Warrior Project, a nonprofit organization located in Roanoke, Virginia. The Wounded Warrior Project's mission is to raise public awareness and enlist the public's aid for the needs of severely injured service men and woman, to help disabled service members to aid and assist each other, and to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet their needs.
THIS EVENT IS FREE OF CHARGE!
Come by for hamburgers and hotdogs, stay to talk to Veterans and learn of their experiences.
Politicians from both sides of the aisle are being invited along with local media outlets and VFW organizations throughout Monmouth County.
Note: This is a Meet, Greet, and Eat Event. There will be no speakers at this event.
