is anyone else really excited to hear what the new Saves the Day stuff will sound like? i know i sure am.
when i was driving home i looked at the moon and all of a sudden i start singing "the moon hangs like the blade of an axe tonight" because it really did, and then i wanted to put on that cd, but i didnt feel like getting out my cds again.
but yeah, i love STD, they have'nt disapointed me with anything they've done yet, and i doubt they ever will. i really think they are one of the greatest bands ever

so much love for saves the day.
i do that thing too, pretty much anytime i see the moon where it even resembles a crescent. i know my friends get sick of it, but it always manages to amuse me.

I loooooove Saves the Day. They were the band that my brother showed me that got me into listening to 'good' music. I'll allllways love this band, no matter where my musical tastes go.
I think I like Through Being Cool most, then Can't Slow Down, then Stay What You Are... actuallly no, I really just like it all a lot.

ahh, I loves saves the day, they have been my all time favorite band for as long as I can remember, seriously. They never cease to amaze me. As much I loved can't slow down and through being cool, I love how much more mature they have gotten over the years with their music. I don't think I will ever not like them, they have been such a huge part of my life.
I can't wait to hear new stuff, I know they are going for a harder sound than In Reverie which will be exciting as I thought parts of In Reverie were boring, mainly 'She', but for the most part I loved it. I get so excited just thinking about it.

I'm keen. I also really wouldn't mind seeing them. They've only been out to Australia once and the show they played in my state was over 18, and I am not 18, I was really angry but yeah, holy shit I love them so much. Stay What You Are is easily in my top 5 favurite albums ever.
Fave song: This is not an exit.

I thought parts of In Reverie were boring, mainly 'She', i like that song, i think its very pretty, yes its very mellow, and i could see where people think its boring, but if the song was uptempo or something i think it would take away from the song. i think the music fits the lyrics with that song perfectly. but to each their own -Carla

sell my old cloths i'm off to heavan is one of my favorite songs of all time. its unfortunate that never made it to an album, but at least they put it on the b-sides release.
i really didn't care for the last album so i hope they step it up on the new one.

I didn't like In Reverie but I guess I didn't really give it a chance and I only listened to it a couple of times before going back to Stay What You Are and never putting it on again. I lovelovelove Sell My Old Clothes, I'm Off To Heaven and The Art Of Misplacing Firearms <3

it's been said before, but in reverie was heavily influenced by the beatles. i personally like it a lot. i dunno i loved 2 of the other songs, i just felt the rest didn't seem like they were even trying. i don't think its a valid excuse to be like "its a very beatles influenced album." if i want the beatles i'll listen to the beatles, i wanted to hear saves the day.
