I think I'm speaking for all those Straylight Run fans living in Canada, when I say that we would love to see them play here. (especially in Nova Scotia/New Brunswick). I understand they may not sell as many tickets as they would in Korea or Japan but lets not forget, music is played strictly for the enjoyment one gets from playing it, and sharing that love with others. Not the amount of money that could be profited. Saying this I am not trying to put across that Straylight Run does this. Canada needs more than just Rap and Rock and roll shows. In my opinion Straylight Run has a lot to offer, I believe if more people knew of them, they would become of of the greats (or should I say Popular known groups)
So this is my post I would like to hear some responses to this. Till then, Peace and love.

I don't think SR haven't played Canada because they can make more money elsewhere... I'm pretty sure they just haven't got there yet.
Even so, when music is something you're making a living out of, it's naive to say music is played strictly for the enjoyment of playing it. Being in a band is enjoyable, I'm sure, but it's also a job for bands like SR - and, unfortunately, that means thinking about the costs and benefits of playing certain places.

To my knowledge, they played in Toronto 4 times, and I couldn't get to Toronto 4 times. Now that I live in Windsor 8 months of the year, maybe I'll finally get to see them in Detroit. I'm missing out seeing SR on Warped because I'm not going until august.

I'm eagerly anticipating SR's next Canadian visit. It would be nice if they could do a Canadian wide tour much like Brand New (not sure if you've heard of them before...) did this past summer. I empathize with the maritimers as they often seemed to be neglected. And truth be told it's a heck of a drive from Nova Scotia to Toronto or even Montreal for that matter. If I were nimble I would consider any North Eastern U.S. dates. I've had the fortunate opportunity of living in Toronto for 4 years while going to school there and saw many of favourite bands come through as their lone Canadian date. Now living in Ottawa, I suspect it will be more difficult... But there's always Montreal! SO COME TO CANADA AGAIN SR!!

How does that saying go... "Sarcasm is the lowest form of humour." Come on now, I live in north but not that far north....

How does that saying go... "Sarcasm is the lowest form of humour." Come on now, I live in north but not that far north.... Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit... ...but the highest form of humour. Except when it just isn't funny at all.
