When I saw them play live I noticed on the guitar that John and Michelle were sharing there was a picture of the Virgin Mary. I remember reading that both of them went to a religious school when they were young. Are either of them still religious or still go to Mass or anything? Or did they just feel like sticking a picture of Mary on the guitar?
I'm just curious, I don't want to start a religious debate or anything...

I think I noticed that last time I saw them. I don't know anything about their religious affiliation, though I always just assumed they were Christian.

After a months long argument about that sticker with one of my friends....it's actually jesus and not the virgin mary

Is it??? Hmm... I'll have to look at my pics from the concert again. I wasn't really that close so maybe I didn't get a good enough look at it. "It's For The Best" always sounded like a sort of crisis of faith or something, I wasn't sure if they still believed anything or if they had walked away. I know a lot of people who went to religious schools as children who are athiests and agnostics now

Hmm... yeah that's definitely Jesus. I guess I just didn't get a good look at it that night. Cool sticker though
