i'm too lazy to upload pictures of my drum set to the interweb.
but you've seen pictures of my drum kits.
sometimes is the black cat kit (like right now...though i'm using either a pearl brass sensitone snare or an old 70's ludwig acrolite). for a while it was the C&C (but i gave that back to bill), sometimes its random drums like on the hush sound tour (tama superstar toms, 60's slingerland snare)
goodtimes. let's see more drum kits.

You said you gave your C&C's back to Bill, I'm just wondering, why is that?

i gave the C&C kit back to bill because it wasn't the kit i was hoping for. i was working with bill to create a really cool kit and i was very excited about it. but it was taking a while to finish up, so he sent out a kit for me to use in the mean while. it was a great kit, but not exactly what i wanted. the original kit never got built so i gave the loaner back. i love bill but it didn't work out.

Thanks for the kind words Will!
Its nice to see someone else who gives "the acrolite" the respect it deserves. Believe it or not I actually traded an old superphonic for that acrolite (as well as some cash!). I always get people looking down towards them, compared to the superphonic, but I prefer the Acrolite.
As far as I know, the Acrolite has the same spun aluminum shell as the superphonic (I think the earlier supers may have had a brass shell), it just has 8 lugs instead of 10 and doesnt get a dip in chorme. I think the muffler maybe different as well??
as far as the drums go: I have an addiction to older drums, but I hate the little things that usually suck on them (bass drum spurs, mounting hardwear, floor tom legs that dont flange out at the bottom, wings nut that always strip!) So getting Bill to make me a kit like this is a very happy medium. They sound very close to the old Gretsch and Camco drums that make my heart flutter.
