So I was thinking about it today, and I have played a DW 5000 for a long as I can remeber. It was the first "Real Pedal" I ever got as a kid, and the only one I have used (well except for a an old Speedking that I bought on impulse. I never really use it. I just wanted to save it from the scrap yard). Am I missing out on something better?
So my question is to everyone...
What do you guys use? What do you recomend?
I am not looking for a new pedal cause I am pretty happy with mine, but that might be cause I havent looked to see what else is out there. When I got the 5000, it was kind of the indusrty standard at the time, but there are a ton of pedals out there now.
let me know!

I've been using a dw5000 for as long as i can remember myself, and i've tried a few other pedals but they were on my friends kits. I can't say any of the others were particularly better (iron cobra and some pearl pedals) i just wasn't too happy with the way they reacted (either action or the beater itself) my 5000 is falling apart and i've been in the market to get a new pedal so I'm also up for suggestions to go try out but i wouldn't be suprized to end up with another one
