that picture didn't work, try again.
vistalites are awesome.
i'm really hoping to grab a set soon. i actually found a beat up 4 peice at a studio, but it was a solid white vista, and a solid color kinda defeats the purpose of getting a vistalite kit, so i didnt try to buy them.
my next kit might be an acrylic kit from black cat. -will

I have a Mapex PRO-m Fusion kit with Maple/Basswood shells. Here are her measurements: 22x18 kick 14x12 low tom (mounted) 12x10 rack tom 10x9 rack tom (i dont use this one) 14x5.5 matching snare I have a 16" Zildjian Z Custom Crash, and a Z custom splash, and some crappy Paiste hi-hats and ride. I love my transparent gloss finish, and the kick drum tone is HUGE. The snare also sounds great with a an evans HD dry head on it.

I've gotta set of pearl master studios, all fusion sizes. The set is this like red sunburst. I also have a kit I remodeled. I took this Sunlite set, stripped all the laminations and stained it ebony witha greenish tint (with a satin laquer on top). I upgraded the lugs and stuff and took some different things from some sets my friends just had laying around. That set is rock sizes. My snare is a generic metal 14x6.5. I am gonna hopefully get a new one soon.
Cymbals: 14" A rock hi hats 8" A splash 14" K mini china 16" A custom thin crash 16" A medium thin brilliant crash 20" A ping ride

waiting for you: how do you like the sunlite kit? i've heard that they have some decent stuff for a smaller name, they are made by taye or some other company that makes half the drums for other companies.
the seidel: spaun - i dont have very much experience with spaun, but they're drums seem pretty nice and well built. i just checked their website and they don't claim to use Keller shells, but there is a very good chance they do. and if that's the case, then their drums are going to sound pretty similiar to C&C, orange county or a million other custom companies. and if that's the case, i'd just work with Black Cat Drums as i've been doing for the past year.

Hey, about the sunlite, considering it was $400 for the whole set up, shells sound pretty good. The bass drum is probably my favorite part of that kit. It has a real nice punch to it. The hardware was what I had the biggest problem with. The metal on it was cheap as anything and split real easily. Anyway, to start off it did me well to start off, and makes a good back up/ practice set.

hi..
This is Paul from Black Cat Drums. If you need any info please send me an email and i can email you a copy of our 2004 price list.
The website is pretty lame at the moment on the info end of things but i do have the artist section up.
Currently we don't have drums in "stores" as we do all of our work on an as order/custom basis.
hope that helps a bit.
